With a culture built on entrepreneurialism, partnership and being a team within teams, our firm offers joiners the opportunity to think out loud, .Position OverviewStepStone is looking for a detailed-oriented individual who will work with a team that manages fund operations and client relations for numerous U.S. 33-Act, 40-Act closed-end registered funds and various international feeders and private equity funds and fund-of-funds. The person should have a solid understanding of investment operations and strong communication skills.Essential Job Functions:Manage the daily operations and client requests for US evergreen fundsResponsible for the creation of investor correspondence for several private equity funds; deliverables will include detailed quarterly reports, capital calls and distributions, as well as various ad hoc client communicationsCoordinate with respective fund vendors on investor access, communications, reporting, and investor account set-up and maintenanceUpdate and utilize data models to create charts and content for various periodic and ad hoc presentationsAttend performance update calls and prepare summaries across an array of private equity general partner relationshipsUtilize proprietary and external databases to prepare various analyses and to complete ad hoc requestsAd hoc projects (e.g., tracking private market benchmark information, updating of performance data, assisting in tracking underlying fund level capital call/distribution schedules and other administrative activities)Coordinate with internal departments, such as fund accounting, tax, compliance, distribution and legal related to the respective fund and/or investor inquiriesEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or business preferredOne+ year of related financial services experience required (private equity, operations, or client relations)Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong Excel skills and familiar working with Adobe AcrobatHighly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence and adaptabilityStrong analytical and organizational skills and high attention to detailProven customer service skillsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAcute attention to accuracy and detailEffective communication skills and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize activities while working on multiple projects and achieve target deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePointOther Attributes:Team oriented yet self-drivenInterest in global financial marketsStrong work ethicAbout usWorking out of 26 offices in 15 countries, StepStone has a truly global viewpoint.
