We operate 9 lodges in some of the most remote, inaccessible and beautiful locations. Our team of guides, drivers, camp and operations staff are passionate about the outdoors and take pride in bringing our guests on the adventure of a lifetime.RequirementsSeven Spirit Bay is an iconic wilderness lodge located on the western side of Port Essington on the Cobourg Peninsula. It is only accessible by Outback Spirit boats or aircraft.We are seeking a strong leader and motivated individual to manage our flagship lodge on a minimum 12 month contract.This role will see you leading our team through the end of the 2024 touring and fishing seasons, carrying out maintenance in the off-season, and expertly leading your team through the entirety of the 2025 season.The role will involve, but is not limited to:Managing team members, inspiring a passion for quality and professionalismSetting clear goals and expectations, ensuring team members are meeting targets and providing the team with regular feedbackLead and train the new and existing team members to ensure the standards and quality of work is consistentActively working towards meeting the Net Promoter Scores (NPS)Supporting the continuous improvements of our lodge operations through proactive communications to the Operations Manager/General ManagerEnsuring budgets are met and cost controlled across the lodgeDeliver the business’ guest-facing experience, from strategy through to deliveryOversite of the food and beverage delivery, experience, and menu in conjunction with the Head Chef and the Kitchen team (this includes cost management, ordering, stock control and waste minimisation)Drive a culture of safety, ensuring all incidents and hazards are reported and investigated in a timely mannerComplete all administrative tasks as required by the operations teamTake an active role in recruitment, inductions, and team member trainingThe off season duties will involve project management and liaising with various trades personnelThis is a live-in position in an extremely remote location.
