We, embrace individuals with diverse skills, experiences, and backgrounds, recognising the unique value they bring to CFA.Want to read more about the Country Fire Authority (CFA) click .About the RoleThe Program Manager for People & Culture at CFA holds a pivotal position, overseeing strategic initiatives such as the Culture Review, Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Strategy implementation, Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP) and Child Safety.In this role, fostering robust relationships is paramount, extending across the People & Culture function, various CFA departments and Volunteer Fire Brigade Victoria (VFBV). Your days will see you aligning actions and activities with CFA's people and culture priorities. This involves overseeing CFA's cultural journey, Child Safety, Volunteer Leadership Development and D&I Strategy.In essence, this role is integral to shaping and communicating CFA's commitment to cultural evolution, diversity and safety on both internal and external fronts.About YouOur ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to provide strategic advice within complex organisational contexts, employing contemporary program and project management tools. Your strong written and verbal communication skills will be pivotal, as you will handle presentations, collateral preparation and extensive report writing for the Executive team and other key stakeholders, as well as external publication and government submissions.Analytical expertise is essential for translating data into meaningful insights, and you should have a proven ability to lead cultural change, foster employee engagement and implement effective measurement strategies.We are seeking a candidate with tertiary qualifications in HR, Organisational Development, or a related field, complemented by significant program/project management experience.
