Two divisions - Santos Energy Solutions and Santos Upstream Gas and Liquids - are accountable for global portfolio management and strategy.About the RoleAn excellent career opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Specialist to join the Santos team. Based at our Global Headquarters in Adelaide, this position delivers business benefits through effective development and execution of sourcing strategies, category plans, contract management and supplier management. This will be delivered through the application of industry and company knowledge, procurement competency and outstanding stakeholder engagement. The role will undertake sound contracts and procurement work, for assigned categories that contribute to Santos' competitive advantage and meet its business objectives.Key accountabilities include:Perform sourcing and contract management for assigned categories (~$45m spend value).Work collaboratively with multiple key stakeholders to ensure business needs are understood and sourcing strategies aligned.Identify and deliver cost and business efficiency outcomes.Develop negotiation plans in collaboration with Procurement Team Leader and stakeholders to negotiate effective outcomes.Managing and maintaining health of assigned contracts in line with the approved category strategy.Ensure security of supply through effective risk identification and mitigationAbout YouHolding a Tertiary qualification in engineering, law, business or supply chain management and Certificate / Member status of CIPS or equivalent (desirable).
