POSITION: Wastewater Treatment Plant OperatorDEPARTMENT: Technical ServicesLOCATION: Fairfield, New Jersey; Winnfield, Louisiana; Key West, FloridaSALARY RANGE: $28 - 38 per hourJOB NUMBER: 2022-G332-01DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor looking for a Wastewater Treatment Operator to support our projects in New Jersey, Louisiana, and Florida. This full time position requires an individual who is hardworking, reliable, responsible, motivated, and mechanically sound. Ability to travel is important. Must have a valid driver’s license.The daily work will include:Complete daily operations related to mobilizing, operating, demobilizing wastewater treatment systems.Some heavy lifting and working in hot and cold environmentsSKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Previous experience in wastewater treatment operations requiredWastewater Treatment Operators license preferredElectrical and instrumentation experience preferredPiping (PVC, Steel, HDPE)Familiarization of wastewater treatment operations process controlPossess strong mechanical and problem-solving skillsOSHA HAZWOPER certificate a plusSALARY/BENEFITS:Hourly; Salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.
