Job Description:All roles at Westpac Group can be considered for flexible working arrangements, such as flexible hours, working remotely, part time work, or job sharing.Permanent roleSydney based positionCareer growth and developmentHow will I help?As a Product Owner, you will be providing subject matter expertise from a Consumer Data Right (CDR) and Data Standards perspective, for the delivery and operations of Westpac's Open Banking platform. You will be part of Westpac Digital line of business and a member of the Open Banking Product Owner team, which is responsible for building data-sharing and data ingestion capability using CDR.What will I be responsible for?Partner closely with Open Banking Operations team to remediate production issues.Provide direction to the assigned staff(s) for an efficient root cause analysis, data and requirements gathering for a thorough remediation.Review business requirements and solution design are regulatory compliant with CDR rules and data standards.Review, prioritise and signoff of test plans and scenarios; actively participate in the defect management cycle and progression-BPIV during release.Recommend process improvements for operations, capability upgrade and delivery epic prioritisation.Review and assist in drafting external communications to balance perspectives from customer, bank and regulator.What's in it for me?You'll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for 200 years. Open Banking experience is preferable.To be successful in this role, you will have:Ability to handle multiple issues under pressure and context switch effectively.Loves problem-solving and has a relentless drive to finding root cause and solution options.Wide knowledge on a range of retail banking products is essential.Experience with managing risks and/or delivering compliance projects is essential.Deep experience dealing with a wide range of stakeholders including technical engineers, legal, compliance and risk staff.Experience managing and communicating with external stakeholders is essential.Experience as a Product Owner or senior Business Analyst or operations manager.Experience in managing production issues and operations are essentials.Experience working with data-heavy project is preferred (eg data migrations, platform integration, Data Quality remediation).What is it like to work there?We aim to provide one big, supportive team to help us achieve our purpose of creating better futures together.
