Here at the Mick George Group we are looking for a Asbestos Supervisor to join the team.Job Overview:To support the business in achieving its aims and objectives through the delivery of asbestos management and removal projectsResponsibilities:Organise asbestos removal works to ensure that it is undertaken in compliance with relevant Legislation/Regulations, MGE Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and to the required health and safety standardsEnsure that all site labour, plant and materials are on site and utilised to ensure safe working practicesEnsure full understanding of Method Statement and Risk Assessment prior to works commencing and ensure all controls are in place and risks communicated to all OperativesEnsure all first aid and welfare facilities are maintained on siteManage all site works in liaison with Contract Manager, site staff and Client to ensure all works proceed to programme and budget and to Clients satisfactionComplete all required site checks, record on appropriate forms and submit to Contract Manager/Office Manager/Plant Department as requiredUndertake monthly mask checks for all Operatives on siteUndertake TNA analysis on Operatives on a project by project basisAttend 6 weekly Supervisor meetingsParticipate in wider objectives of the companyQualifications/Experience:Demonstrable successful experience of working in a similar role (Qualified Licenced Asbestos Supervisor)Committed to providing first rate customer serviceKnowledge of relevant legislation including Health and SafetyIT Literate – Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook and the use of remote meeting tools e.g. SkypeEffective communicator, influencer & relationship builder.The written communication skills to complete all site paperwork to a high standardHonest & reliableAbility to prioritise work and manage own diary – amidst challenging demands on timeAbility to balance operational needs with best practiceFull Driving Licence with towing abilityBenefits:Competitive salaryCompany pensionCycle to work schemeCompany benefit platformLength of service rewards - enhanced holiday entitlement / access to private healthcare serviceEmployee assistance programmeThe Mick George Group is committed to providing equality of opportunity for all.
