We have brought our brightest minds together to respond to our client’s Project and Programme management objectives.ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarkingLeading on technology and innovation projects in the life sciences sector, at the enabling stage (could include laboratories, data centres, biotech facilities, etc.)Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the projectMonitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicatorsTracking and documenting changesPreparing written project communication materialsPreparing formal project progress and other reportsLiaising with the client, contractors and designersAttending meetings and drafting minutes, etcOther responsibilities, to include:Preparing presentation materials for client pitches, etcInputting key information into the Turner & Townsend internal databaseQualificationsTo be considered for this role, you will need:Minimum 5 years’ experienceRelevant qualification (project management or construction management)Ideally NEC accredited Project ManagerMember of a chartered institute e.g., RICS or happy to work towardsGood knowledge of construction industry themes such as MMC, Net Zero Carbon and Digital agendaGood knowledge of project lifecycle and business case approvals processIdeally experience of working on technology / innovation projectsWhat experience we are looking forDetailed knowledge of and experience in large scale technology and innovation projects in the life sciences sector (5 years)Experience of master planning/strategic estate development and capital project planning for business case compilation is desirable.Detailed experience of NEC contract administration is desirableDemonstrable experience in client-facing roles at all levels (including Directors of Technology/Strategy and Planning/Capital Development to stakeholders and end-users)Additional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
