Encourage and promote the adoption of safe and environmentally friendly practices that promote the reduction of risks, accidents, and incidents throughout the plant.As a member of the management committee, participate in the development of the plant's strategic plans.Measure unit efficiency, ensure quality standards are maintained for all products shipped from the plant, and develop/support continuous improvement programs while exercising tight control over expenses and using capital wisely to improve the operation of the department.Maximizes human resources effectiveness by ensuring sound union, management, and employee relations by developing and implementing a participative approach to managing.Lead, motivate and support a large team within a demanding environment. Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development.Driving excellence through leadership. Motivate and mobilize your team to promote excellent working relationships.
