That’s why SickKids Foundation is looking for a new Intern, Corporate Partnerships.Position Status: Temporary Full-time Contract (4 months)Intern positions are open to candidates who have recently graduated (recent graduates are considered individuals who have graduated from an accredited university or college within the last 36 months).Available: ImmediatelyDescription of the Position:As a member of the Corporate Partnerships Team, the Intern, Corporate Partnerships will be responsible for inspiring and engaging corporate partners to achieve their fundraising goals for SickKids Foundation relating to employee giving campaigns. They will travel to visit partners and attend Workplace Giving Fundraising events to inspire donors by delivering presentations as well as providing logistical and other administrative support to the Corporate team.You will:Inspire and engage corporate partners to participate in employee giving campaignsAssist with the planning of workplace visits and calls, preparing communication packages and documenting all interactionsConduct initial prospect research and outreach for workplace giving campaign activityExecute outreach to identified prospects and setup discovery meetingsTravel to corporate partners' offices/stores/retail and employee giving events throughout OntarioDeliver presentations to employee groups to educate and inspire attendees about SickKids to strengthen relationships and drive fundraising activityLeverage impact stories for the purpose of building meaningful relationships with workplace giving donors/corporate partnersReport to relationship managers in a timely manner on corporate partner visits, identify challenges and opportunitiesComplete all data entry and reporting in our CRMSupport stewardship activities related to Workplace Giving Corporate PartnersSupport with additional office and administrative duties and projects as requiredRequired SkillsQualifications:While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:Availability to work evenings and weekends requiredStrong people skills, a relationship builder with a professional demeanorSuperior verbal and written communications skills through phone, video and in personExcellent public speaker, storyteller, and motivator who can engage and inspire people whether through the phone, video call, or in personCreative, resourceful, organized, detail-oriented, with strong follow-throughWorks well independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to pitch in and support a variety of projects as neededAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and multitaskFlexible and adaptable, able to easily adjust to new tactics and strategies as they emergeIn possession of a valid Canadian driver’s license (G Level), with regular access to a vehicle and insurance (mileage will be reimbursed)Experience in customer serviceQuick thinker, fast learner, adaptable to many different situations and personalitiesA personal connection to the hospital and cause will be considered an assetWe’re looking for a passionate individual who is interested in moving the dial and making a difference.
