We are committed to each other, our work and the wider community - and our hope is to be joined by those who are enthusiastic not just about what we do, but why we do it.About The OpportunityThis newly created position focuses on providing integral support to our Trade and Retail sales team across the country, whilst also providing opportunities for your superior customer service skills to come in handy during client consults and sales activities. This role is the perfect opportunity to contribute to a high performing, energised, warm and collaborative team whilst developing your sales skills and industry knowledge.Assist our NSW + WA sales team in achieving their sales objectives and maintaining excellent customer relationships.Manage administrative tasks, coordinating sales activities, quoting, rug samples/returns and ensuring seamless communication between the sales team, customers and other departments, including processing claims.Aid in delivering brand and product presentations and handling customer inquiries to support sales efforts.Assist in monitoring orders, invoices and managing payment follow-ups to ensure smooth transaction processes.Aid in maintaining the customer database and contributing to customer code reviews based on tiers.Troubleshoot and resolve customer or internal issues effectively and efficiently to enhance the overall customer experience.You have the unique opportunity to become a key team member that is at the centre of many of our most important processes. There is ample opportunity for you to collaborate widely with other departments such as Operations, Marketing and Finance to provide a seamless sales experience and process for every Armadillo client.About YouMost importantly, we are keen to fill this role with a candidate that is personable, organised, productive, solutions-focused and aware of the ways in which their skills and capabilities can contribute to successful client interactions and sales processes. You always put your hand up to help others and are excited to run with administrative tasks and processes that keep everyone on track.Experience in sales support, preferably within the home decor or textiles industry.Strong administrative skill set and prior experience. Be able to support several team members with a range of tasks and responsibilities that are both operational and administrative in nature.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to assist in engaging and influencing customers.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining databases and managing samples.Intermediate proficiency of Excel.
