Mission: Lead the AI research and development of the Assisterr platform relying on Small Language Models.Estimated time: Full time, ContractLocation: RemoteAssisterr is a decentralised platform that simplifies the creation, maintenance, and support of community-owned Small Language Models (SLMs).Our incentive-driven data inference framework allows everyone to contribute knowledge and expertise to train these AI models, ensuring permissionless access, data quality, and fair rewards.Our mission is to ensure everyone has equal opportunities to contribute to and benefit from AI progress.We just secured a $1.7M Pre-seed round and scaling team. .RequirementsWhat You'll Do:Lead the AI R&D and execution of our strategy for creating a network of community-owned Small Language Models that set new industry standards.Lead the AI team, managing their efforts and contributions to the AI infrastructure behind the core AI Lab product. Fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.Spearhead collaborations with other teams to ensure our AI infrastructure is effectively integrated into market-driven solutions.Represent Assisrerr in the AI community, sharing our work and learning through open contributions, speaking engagements, and publications.Qualifications:A PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, complemented by a solid track record in AI R&D.Experience building and/or finetuning Language Models or other foundational models from scratch including the implementation of training and inference algorithms and gathering and curation of the training data.Strong experience in NLP, Cloud environments, multimodal learning, proficiency in TensorFlow and CUDA.Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse, high-performing teams, with an emphasis on mentorship and collaborative success.Advanced knowledge of distributed and high-performance computing systems.Excellent programming skills in Python, C++, and JavaScript.BenefitsWorking with a passionate and rapidly growing teamA competitive salary and benefits package (Equity & Token).Ability to try and test your best ideas in real life with exposure to 170k users.Remote firstFlexible hoursFlexible vacation policyQuarterly offsite travel for collaborationTeam in FacesCEO -CPO -CTO -Join us at Assisterr.ai and be a part of an innovative team working on exciting projects!Assisterr
