We aim to drive change as part of RAC's purpose, vision and mission and is an important experience design and innovation unit focused on bringing together RAC teams and members to explore and build new solutions. As an Experience Designer you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of designers, business leaders and experts to discover, design, and deliver new services and experiences for members.What will you be doing?Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to scope, design, concept test and deliver innovative solutionsActively shaping and building and evolving the vision and design practices for RAC CoLAB,Immersing yourself to better understand critical pain points for members and the different value streams within the RACBuilding and testing ways to co-design and create new ideas with members and RAC teamsScoping and planning projects, working with a range of stakeholders and organising the team to deliver the project to a high standardSupporting the development of RAC CoLAB business plans, communication content and other collateralDesigning, building and testing different artefacts to support RAC CoLAB initiativesWhat will you bring?Previous experience within experience design with a research background is highly desirableKnowledge and experience with various design disciplines (system, business, experience, interaction, graphic).Experience participating in end-user research to derive valuable insights, and translating them into effective design solutions, both face-to-face and in virtual environments.Applied a diverse range of design methodologies, including Design Thinking, Lean Start-up, Sprint, and Agile, to deliver exceptional member experiences.Strong storytelling and communication skills, with a proven record of presenting to diverse and complex stakeholder groups.Advanced knowledge of user-centered design principles and proficiency in various processes and methods.Ability to build and manage robust relationships with colleagues, clients, and key stakeholders.Experience working for an in-house product team and /or in an agency driving customer transformationProficiency in design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite is desirableThis is a Full Time, 5month maximum term contract that will allow you to gain exposure and experience within a fast paced, high performing team environment.What can we offer you?Flexible working optionsTechnology and tools to enable you to do your job from anywhere!An established Diversity & Inclusion strategyIn-house Health and Wellness programsA competitive base salary plus super (ability to purchase additional leave)A very active Social Club - join one of the most active social clubs in Perth with over 900 members!To apply for this exciting opportunity, please submit your CV to showcase your skills and experience.
