The Regulatory Affairs Manager/ Technical Manager will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all regulations and managing the team to issue specifications, safety data sheets, and product labels accurately and promptly.Ensuring products meet both legal and customer standardsProviding timely and accurate data to customers and third-party organisationsEnsuring compliance of products, packaging, labels, and documentation across all UK sites with current and emerging food, labelling, and transport legislation worldwideDetermining and/or validating regulatory information, including legal ingredient declarations, allergen information, nutritional and analytical tolerances, and suitability based on product composition in online formulation repositoriesManaging the team to issue specifications, safety data sheets, and product labels accurately and promptlyDelivering customer-specified documents accurately and on time, while adhering to company IP protection guidelinesEnsuring compliance with the requirements of third-party certifying bodiesPassing certifying auditsStoring, updating, and ensuring easy access to data required for specifications, legal compliance, and other purposesPreventing successful regulatory challenges to our products, packaging, labels, and documentationSwiftly approving new raw materials in accordance with KPIsThis is a great opportunity to join a thriving team with a global presence! |Great hybrid working environment with flexibility within the role.A successful applicant will hold:Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Science, or a related fieldIn-depth knowledge of relevant European food legislationMore than 3 years of experience as a Senior Specifications Technologist or a comparable role within the food ingredients industry, delivering technical information to customersExcellent communication skills with all stakeholders, both internal and externalHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyComprehensive understanding of customer specifications and online portals, with experience in their completion (preferred)Previous experience in the flavor industryProficiency with internal specification systems/databasesManagement experience is a plus.
