Our client is an importer, distributor, and manufacturer of specialty hardware products. This position would suit someone who has experience mixing, formulating, and applying coatings and tints, and some based chemistry knowledge. If you are looking for a company that is dynamic and creative, and supports career progression, then look no further!Responsibilities:Determine formula of colour to match customer sample.Mix and apply coatings or tints to surfaces according to customer specifications.Read job orders, inspect surfaces, and determine procedures and materials for each jobInspect finished surfaces and retouch any defective areas.Clean and properly prepare surfaces to be tinted or coated.Maintain all coating/tinting, and warehouse quality control standards.Represent the company in a highly professional, safe, and cost-effective manner.Maintain a satisfactory driving record and comply with all safety regulations.Provide warehouse support when required which may include shipping and receiving.Requirements:High School Diploma or professional diploma in a related field.Some related experience in a similar position, mixing, formulating, and applying coatings and tints to various surfaces.Eye colour accuracy and outstanding precision to see colour tint.Based chemistry knowledge, an asset.Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.Good organizational skills and be able to work under tight deadline.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.Dedicated, initiative and team player.Ability to operate a stand-up forklift.Ability to lift more than 50 lbs.Our client Offers:Full-time permanent rolePay is $50,000-$55,000 per year based on relevant experienceMonday to Friday scheduleGroup insurance program (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.)Employee Stock Purchase PlanDon’t meet every single requirement?
