This position will offer you professional growth opportunities within a supportive and inclusive culture.About the Role:An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Senior Registrar within the General Surgery and Acute Surgical Unit.2 x 12-month positions involving time spent working on the Acute Surgical Unit at the Lyell McEwin Hospital and the General Surgery Unit at Modbury.At Lyell McEwin Hospital and Modbury Hospital the Senior Registrar is responsible for managing the care of all patients allocated to current department in consultation with the responsible Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professionals.The incumbent actively contributes to continuous quality improvement and in continuing education activities.The aim of the 12 month program is to give recently qualified general surgeons an opportunity to consolidate their management of acute emergency management and elective surgery proficiency.To be eligible for this position, you must have a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.Obtained a Specialist Qualifications and is registrable as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working including part-time.
