If you want a career where you can thrive, be challenged and do meaningful work, you're in the right place.Why Your Role Matters:This position will participate in the delivery and organisation of undergraduate medical student teaching, focused on Phase 2 and 3 Liverpool Clinical Teaching Unit at Liverpool Hospital, to enhance clinical placement capacity for domestic students.For further information on the role & responsibilities, please refer to the job description at JOBS@UNSW.Who You Are:An MD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.Medical qualification registrable in New South Wales and specialist training in a surgical discipline (GI surgery or surgical oncology) would be highly desirable.Demonstrated experience and/or capacity to teach in a tertiary environment or hospital setting.Actively stays up to date with discipline knowledge and principles outlined in NSW Health's Patient Safety and Clinical Quality Program.Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate level.Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g. relevant discipline-based curriculum design and development at a variety of levels and scales).Demonstrated knowledge of industry or experience of work-integrated learning (desirable).Evidence of highly developed communication and presentation skill.Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.Benefits and Culture:UNSW offer a competitive salary and access to a plethora of UNSW-perks including:17% Superannuation and leave loadingFlexible working Additional 3 days of leave over the Christmas PeriodAccess to lifelong learning and career development Progressive HR practicesMore information on the great staff benefits and culture can be foundHow to Apply:Make each day matter with a meaningful career at UNSW.
