ACES is seeking an experienced DoD staff Action Officer to assist the DoD CIO. Specifically, the position supports the Deputy CIO for Cybersecurity developing and providing oversight to the budget for Cyberspace Activities throughout the DoD. Successful candidates will be an organized self-starter capable of performing tasks without the need for constant oversight and have experience successfully working in a team environment.Please call or email today if interested (Info@ACESGroup.com / 660-441-1691).OPPORTUNITYContract Length: Solid work - have been supporting client for over 15 years.Work Location: Mark Center (Arlington, VA)Clearance: Active TS/SCI or TS adjudicated within the past 2 years requiredEducation/Experience: Bachelors Degree (preferably in Budget or Finance) with 5 years of relevant experienceStart Date: As soon as possiblePRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze financial data related to operations, business performance, and investmentsConsolidate complex technical program descriptions and strategy into simple language for official reportsSupport the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process within DoD CIOReview funding lines and correlate capability program guidance submissions to strategy requirementsWork closely with service and agency officials to collect budget data on specific program elementsSupport the creation of an annual budget certification report for the DoD CIOReview, edit, and format written policy, guidance, and instructionsTrack process deliverables and milestones to meet deadlinesDraft briefings, meeting notes, and coordination materialsSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Cognizant of current DoD budgetary principles and their associated operational impactFamiliarity with Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submission process with DoD organizations and or Military servicesExperience writing and researching within DoD Appropriations and budget documentsExperience with planning or programming of RDT&E, Procurement, and O & M funding at an OSD levelExperience with IT or Cyberspace activities programming within the DoD is highly desired.Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasksBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceVision insuranceExperience level:10 yearsSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental pay types:Retention bonusAbility to commute/relocate:Alexandria, VA 22311: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)ACES Group LLC
