Our company is growing rapidly, and we are looking for the best!To create exceptional experiences by building value-driven communities that enrich lives.What is our Vision?To create:Quality housing for residentsMeaningful careers for our associatesStrong partnerships with our service providersCommunities that consistently deliver exceptional experiencesWhat do we believe in?At Wendover, we believe by providing quality, value-driven housing that is well-managed and maintained, we can make a positive impact in the lives of people and in the communities we serve.The position?We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for our community, Denton Cove– a 52-unit multifamily community located in Apalachicola, FL.What are my responsibilities as a Wendover Maintenance Technician?ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for the meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, common areas, parking lot/garage, and other community buildingsYou will remove trash from office areas and community perimeter daily and from trash chutes to compactor daily or moreYou will prepare the make-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments prior to make-readyAssist the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely mannerClean available apartments and or modelsTroubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems, including HVACReport any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Property ManagerMeticulously maintain curb appeal of communityAssist office personnel with other various tasks requiredAssist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, etc.Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shopReport to the Property Manager***This job description is not an all-inclusive list of functions and tasks. Job functions may be added, deleted, or modified at any time by management team.***RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience is preferredLight carpentry, drywall repair, and texture; paintingComputer literacy is a plus but not requiredAbility to multi-taskOutstanding customer service and embracing a shared responsibility environmentMust be fully vaccinated and be able to provide documentation upon hire or be able to provide a completed request for a medical or religious accommodationWhat are the Working Conditions/Environment/Physical Demands of this position?The Service Technician position is a full-time position; may be called upon to work after hours and on weekends.
