This initiative supports integration into Nova Scotia's healthcare system by covering the costs associated with obtaining necessary credentials. For license and registration eligibility criteria and application details, visit the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) website for more information.This is an opportunity that is available to Internationally trained Radiation Therapists interested in working at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Internationally trained Radiation therapists who have graduated from an approved MIRTP in the past 5 years, have completed a recognized refresher program within the past 18 months or meets the currency hours as laid out in the of NSCMIRTP are eligible to apply. After successful completion licensure and registration, candidates will be considered for vacancies within the Radiation Therapy program at Cape Breton Cancer Care Center.Successful candidates will agree to and sign a defined Return of Service agreement.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:An interest in growing your career in Eastern Zone - Cape Breton Cancer Care CentreRegistered and holds a current license in good standing in the specified country you completed your degreeEligible for licensure and registration with the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP)Applications will be assessed and only those who meet the qualifications will be followed by an interview.Compensation and IncentivesFollowing completion of licensure and registration with the NSCMIRTP, successful candidates will be paid at the following rate when working in the classification:$43.45 - $50.66 HourlySuccessful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension planOnce You've AppliedThank you for your interest in this position.
