The Specified Personnel must, however, work a minimum of 2-3 full days per week in the office.Security clearance: Baseline preferred (Aus Citizenship mandatory)Role Description / DeliverablesThe Department of Health and Aged Cares IT Division is seeking a talented Service Designer (with UX expertise) to collaborate with cross-functional teams and shape the digital journey for our users.The Deliverables for the Service Designer (with UX expertise) include, but are not limited to, the following:Design the end-to-end Microsoft 365 journey, ensuring alignment with policy intent and user goals.Development of a service blueprint.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create or enhance digital transactions, products, and content.Undertake user research to identify and/or validate user pain points and critical needs, contributing to service improvements.Explain and advise on design decisions.Skills and ExperienceThe Service Designer (with UX expertise) should possess skills and experience in the following:Design Thinking: Proficiency in applying design thinking principles to service development.User-Centred Design: Ability to prioritise user needs and create intuitive, accessible experiences.Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.Research and Analysis: Conduct user research, analyse data, and translate insights into actionable design improvements.Technical Proficiencies: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and other platforms.Agile: Proven track record of working in agile, multi-disciplinary teams.Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.UX:- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and mock ups to visualise user flows and interactions.- Ability to conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback.- Ensure consistency and accessibility across digital products and platforms.- Advocate for best practices in UX design and usability.QualificationsRelevant certifications in Service Design, UX Design, or equivalent.Virtuoso Consulting Pty Ltd
