Employing more than 2 000 people, BIL is present in the financial hotspots that are Luxembourg, Switzerland, and China.As a major player in Luxembourg's finance industry and as a signatory of the UN Principles of Responsible Banking, BIL is committed to handing over a responsible and sustainable bank to future generations.Your next challenge:The Senior Credit Structurer is responsible for assessing and evaluating the feasibility of credit request and providing structuring solutions within acceptable credit/risk parameters, while developing the Bank's lending portfolio in line with the Bank's strategy and risk appetite.Your Missions :Analyse complex credit requests (SME Lux, Real Estate) and develop solutions within acceptable credit/risk parameters.Provide the credit rating for requests.Ensure credit structuring/granting is aligned with Bank's Risk appetite, limits, Policy, and Procedures.Within the Delegation Authority Framework, decide on credit files.Responsible for business development and revenues growth remaining within Bank's Risk Appetite.Play a key role in credit approval process and follow up on the implementation of credit files in line with the decision.Check the data quality of the credit request (in the systems and in the credit sheet).Support the team manager in projects related to the improvement of work processesContribute to the training of junior analystsYour skills:A significant experience working either in the Front Office or in credit risk management within the banking industry is requiredEnglish and French are mandatory.Excellent understanding of credit activitiesExcellent understanding of Corporate Banking (SME Lux, Real Estate)Ability to maintain a balance between commercial and credit risk rolesAbility to identify credit opportunities and develop innovative solutionsAbility to interact with clientsKnowledge at the level of the national economy in construction and real estate development sectorMore requirements:Strong initiative, self-motivation and ability to work in teamsRigorous and well-organizedOpen-mindedness, analytical and credit structuring skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential risks, assess their impact and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measuresStrong aptitude and experience in decision takingBIL offers a broad range of challenging projects and a huge choice of career paths .We will assist you in finding the one that best meets your skills and expectations.
