If you have a strong background in commercial plumbing, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we encourage you to apply.Employee Benefits Include:Competitive hourly pay ranging from $39-$45/hr, determined by experience and certificationsConsistent Monday to Friday scheduleRotational on-call opportunitiesComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance optionsVoluntary insurance coverage for STD, life, accident, hospital indemnity, and identity theft401K plan featuring a 4% company matchBasic life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and AD&D insurance at no costPaid time off (PTO) and holiday payConvenient online access to pay stubs and W2 formsWeekly pay scheduleAccess to fully stocked company vehicle with covered expensesProvided uniforms, iPhone, and iPad for work-related useResponsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial structures.Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions.Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems to ensure proper functioning and identify potential issues.Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets, and other plumbing components as needed.Manage routine maintenance tasks for an organization’s plumbing equipment and infrastructure, ensuring they operate efficiently.Identify maintenance risks and recommend corrective actions to prevent equipment failures or disruptions.Conduct thorough inspections and tests on plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and compliance with plumbing codes.Perform routine and preventive maintenance activities to prolong the lifespan of plumbing systems and equipment.Process work orders promptly and accurately, documenting all services performed and materials used.Clean, adjust, and repair plumbing systems to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.Handle emergency repairs swiftly and efficiently to minimize downtime and inconvenience for clients.Ensure compliance with company service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.Enter detailed notes on all invoices in the Service Project Management Application to maintain accurate records.Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by supervisors or management.Requirements:Experience: Must have a minimum of 3+ years of proven experience as a Commercial Plumbing Service Technician, with expertise in diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems in commercial buildings.Skills: Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, tools, and equipment; ability to troubleshoot and solve complex plumbing problems.Certifications: Valid plumbing license or Texas Journeyman License as required by local regulations.EPA Universal and OSHA 30Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients and deliver exceptional service.Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, and on-call shifts as needed.Why work for Staxmatic?We have knowledge and experience serving locally for the past 23 years.
