Systems Administrator(This is a remote position open to applicants residing in TX, NM, AZ or KS)Job DescriptionAs a Systems Administrator, you are part of a team that provides escalation support for customer IT systems. Each day, you will work to ensure issues are processed quickly and effectively for the highest support levels and perform complex repairs to software or peripheral equipment configurations, following design or installation specifications. To ensure incidents and tickets are filled out according to company standards, you will document steps taken to remediate issues in a detailed and professional manner and enter time accurately. Systems Administrators provide high-level oversight to ticket boards to aid in delivery of service-level agreements and high service standards.Occasionally, Systems Administrators provide training to users in the proper use of hardware and/or software. You will answer user inquiries to resolve issues, set up user accounts, and configure email access through multiple applications. You will refer major hardware and/or software issues or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.As part of the escalations team, you will also provide mentorship to team members and peers and delegate tickets and tasks as necessary.The position is part of an on-call rotation.RequirementsMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a related fieldStrong knowledge of Tier 1 & 2 IT technologies and support processesExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environmentProactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvementSuccessful completion of a pre-employment background check is required prior to start date for all employeesGet to the EDGE—where Everyone Deserves Great Experiences!As a service-centric company with a culture that always puts people first, IronEdge is dedicated to providing a fun, fulfilling and inclusive environment where teammates can excel in their specialized roles.
