Job DescriptionThe Depositary Officer will be responsible for supporting the Head of the Luxembourg Branch in carrying out the custody functions entrusted to the Branch.Client DetailsOur client is a European Banking entity that is opening a new branch here in Luxembourg.DescriptionThe Depositary Officer will have the following responsibilities:Execute the surveillance and supervision functions of the vehicles deposited at the Branch, in accordance with the terms of EU & Luxembourg regulations depending on the type of vehicle deposited.Review and prepare periodic documentation to be submitted to the CSSF.Supervise the custody of securities and cash, including the verification that reconciliations are carried out in accordance with the terms defined in internal policies and applicable regulations.Supervise the reconciliations that are carried out in accordance with the terms defined in the internal policies & applicable regulations.Participate in the selection, supervision, and monitoring of the sub-custodians responsible for safeguarding securities held by the assets deposited at the branch.ProfileThe successful Depositary Officer has the following profile & qualifications :Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.Understanding of custody operations and related regulatory frameworks.Familiarity with Regulation 231/2013, Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/438, and Luxembourg local regulations.Experience in preparing regulatory documentation and reports.Professional experience within a Depositary Bank or Custodial Services Companies in Luxembourg.Fluent in Spanish and English.Job OfferOur client offers a salary package in line with your experience and with the market.In terms of culture, our client offers a people-oriented working environment.Since this is a creation of position, we are looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset and a taste for new adventures.Jobs.lu
