As a Tactical security guard in the Commercial sector, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety of workers for some of the biggest brands out there!We provide people with growth opportunities. 30% of our frontline employees are promoted to become part of our operation teams.What's in it for you?Complete Security UniformWage rate of $17.86 per hourCareer advancement opportunities through Gardaworld AcademyOther Gardaworld BenefitsFull time positions we are looking to fillMonday, Tuesday and Friday (0645 to 1845)Part time positions we are looking to fillTuesday and Wednesday (0700-1900)What does a Tactical Security Guard in Winnipeg do ?Maintain a safe and Secure environmentEnforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.Helps deal with some down town issues.Safe Walks for staff to and from vehicles.Works in a Pair at all times for Safety.Ability to de escalate issues by detecting vagrants with Mental Illness or drug use.Escalates issues to the correct people.Limit phone use to breaks and emergencies only.Use the tactical guard radios. They must be signed in and out on the radio log.Always be aware of your surroundings.De-escalate situations with the City's most Vulnerable people.Respectful Attitude and Cultural Awareness is a Must! We work with Compassion and Empathy in order to keep our Client's Site, Staff and ourselves safePosted near the front gate entrance at all times and ensure the safety of the building employees.Provide safe walks for employees as needed.Coordinate with the inside team.Slash vest and slash gloves required.Qualifications to become a Security Guard in {CityPrevious experience as Tactical Security Guard (asset)Valid Manitoba Security Guard licenseMust be able to work daysMust be able to work outside and dress according to the weather.Leadership and problem-solving skillsMust be able to work in Pair at all timesAbility to work in a stressful environmentAbility to de escalate issues related to Vagrants with Mental illness and Drug useSSWINNGardaWorld
