Your excellent work ethic, ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and your excellent time management skills will be key to succeeding in this fast-paced environment.Catering AttendantAs a Catering Attendant your duties will include (but not limited to) the following:Maintaining food hygiene, a clean working area and safety practicesDeliver Food & beverages to the hospital patients and doctorsWashing dishes and cleaning in accordance with the FSPAssists in the monitoring and recording requirements of the FSP, for example, recording temperatures, cleaning schedule completion, receipt of goods.Assisting the broader team as required to plate meals while maintaining food hygiene and safety practicesAvailability across a 7-day roster, including morning and afternoon shiftsSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a kitchen or hospital environment but not essential.Understanding of food safety and hygiene principlesExcellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focusCompliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace, Health and SafetyCertificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay's core valuesFood Services StewardAs a Food Services Steward your duties will include (but not limited to) the following:Assisting with plating up at meal timesmaintaining cleanliness within the department in line with required food safety and hygiene principalswashing all pots, pans & utensils as requiredfull clean down of equipment including dishwasher, ovens. grills and fryersensuring a clean environment is maintained at all timessanitising of all bench surfaces & equipmentmoping of kitchen and cold room floorsdaily completion of cleaning checklist and food safety documentationhandling food deliveries and ensuring all sock is stored appropriatelyremoval of wasteSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a prep kitchen or hospital kitchen environmentUnderstanding of food safety and hygiene principlesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focusExcellent work ethicCompliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace, Health and SafetyCertificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)Flexibility to work all shifts (24/7) on rotational roster is essentialAbout RamsayPindara Private Hospital is an acute medical/surgical and maternity hospital serving the northern end of the Gold Coast.
