For more information about Citco, please visit www.citco.comAbout the Team & Business Line:The Citco Group of Companies provides a broad range of financial services through its three business divisions that are present in Luxembourg:Fund Services as fund administrator (Hedge, Private Equity, Real Estate and SPVs)Governance Services as provider of trust and corporate services to commercial companies based in LuxembourgDepositary and Banking services with a banking branch.The role is for the Compliance EVP in charge of the Citco Group Compliance team which supports the Fund Services and Governance Services in Luxembourg. Although the role will predominantly focus on the Citco Luxembourg Companies, as part of a Group Compliance function, there will be opportunities and exposure to other Citco entities at a global level. This will also involve working with other members of Group Compliance.The AML / CFT knowledge and experience of the successful candidate will need to be suitable to be appointed as “responsable du controle” under art 40 of the CSSF regulation 12-02. The Compliance Officer will also be responsible for providing regulatory guidance and support to the business divisions,conducting compliance monitoring and reviewing the business compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.The Citco Group Compliance function drives for best practice and highest ethical standards, providing technical support to the business functions, identifying and reducing/minimizing operational compliance risk across the business functions and continually developing key processes in line with Luxembourg financial industry and regulatory changes.Your role:Manage the Citco Group Compliance team which supports the Fund Services and Governance Services in Luxembourg.Assist the business on compliance matters, creating and implementing the compliance plans and training staff on compliance topics;Identify, assess and manage the compliance risks relating to the Citco Luxembourg Companies activities;Participate in Compliance monitoring activities, perform monitoring reviews and report on the outcome of such reviews, in accordance with the Citco Luxembourg Companies annual monitoring plans and with the Citco Compliance Monitoring Policy;Give advice and support to staff on compliance related matters such as AML and KYC, tax compliance, data protection and confidentiality, outsourcing organization, corporate governance;Analyze reporting of suspicions concerning transaction and activities and report as appropriate;Write policies, keep them up to date with new developments and review on a regular basis;Draft compliance reports for the board of directors of the Citco Luxembourg Companies and for the CSSF;Attend Board and Committee meetings;Participate in the communication with the Luxembourg regulator;Provide training and or arrange for training to employees regarding Compliance policies, and regulatory changes;Assist in the governance of the outsourcing framework and outsourcing oversight.About You:University degree in a relevant discipline;A minimum of 10 years related work experience in the Luxembourg financial sector;Strong knowledge of the Luxembourg legal and regulatory environment in particular AML/CFT and outsourcing;CSSF approved essentialStrong analytical, research and reporting skills;Excellent communication skills especially for drafting in English policies, communications to authorities, reports etc.;Compliance monitoring experience will be a plus;Pro-active and result driven;Developing good working relationships;Tenacity.Our BenefitsYour well being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
