Job Description
As a senior payroll specialist, you will be expected to oversee the global payroll processes for our growing workforce, currently circa 350 employees based in the United Kingdom, EMEA & USA. There will be a requirement to help cover Asia and Australia entities also during periods of absence.Process payroll accurately and timely for approximately 400 employees from the United Kingdom, ensuring adherence to company policies, employment contracts, and legal requirements.Verify and validate timekeeping records, including leaves, overtime, bonusesCalculate wages, salaries, deductions, and benefits, including tax and National Insurance contributionsPrepare and distribute pay statements, payslips, and any necessary reports to employees on a timely basis on request.Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies from employees in a professional and timely manner.Collaborate with the HR department to ensure seamless integration between payroll and employee data systems, including onboarding and offboarding processes globally.Stay updated on UK, EMEA and USA payroll legislation, tax codes, and employment regulationProcess and submit necessary payroll reports to government agenciesThis is a chance to join a growing ship broker and consultant|This role offers a competitive salary and bonus packagePrevious experience in international payroll administration, preferably handling a payroll of similar size (approximately 200-400 employees)Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation, tax codes, and employment regulations.Proficient in using payroll software and computer systems, with experience in processing payroll accurately and efficiently.High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure precise calculations and records.Strong organisational and time management skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to address and resolve payroll-related issues both internally and externally.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skillsMy client is a leading FTSE-listed company based in central London with offices globally.This role offers:A competitive salaryBonus opportunitiesHybrid workingA chance to join a global and growing businessPage Personnel
