We are looking for people to work casual across two shifts: day shift from 7:00am to 7:30pm and night shift from 7:00pm to 7:30am.Our Carlow House program supports young people who are currently homeless and utilises strength and evidence-based approaches to empower them to reach their goals. This role implements support plans, fosters connections with family and carers, plans and participates in activities, and supports overall social and emotional development.About youYou will be dedicated to improving the lives of others through your passion for supporting young people. With an empathetic nature and excellent relationship building skills, you'll provide a high level of support to residents whilst demonstrating the Mercy Care values.Your key experience will include:A Certificate IV or higher in Youth Work or relevant areaExperience supporting young people with complex needs in a residential settingPrior experience working with young people who have experienced homelessnessAbility to work independently with minimal supervision maintaining drive and motivationCurrent Drivers LicenceCurrent Working with Children CheckCurrent Provide First AidNational Police Clearance (within the last six months)About the benefitsYou’ll join an inclusive, diverse and collaborative organisation based locally in Western Australia.
