Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Customer SuccessCollaborate with cross functional team members to develop and propose to potential customers technical cloud based solutions including proposals and statements of workAssist to develop reference architectures and best practice approaches to optimize clients’ cloud adoption, application performance, security, and cost modelsAnalyze business and technical requirements and translate to designs and approachParticipate in meetings and discussions with internal and external customersIdentify and prioritize use cases for implementationIdentify technical requirements for the identified use cases and build an implementation planCollaboration and RecruitingCollaborate with team members and foster an environment where technical professionals can develop their skills and grow their careers; taking on increased responsibility and adding value to the organizationIdentify new candidates to join the Cloud Engineering teamImplementation, Innovation (building), and LearningTake an “always learning” approach to your role, continuing to advance your skills, knowledge and network in Cloud and DevOpsCloud moves fast and requires a lot of “labbing and learning”, be an out of the box thinker; look for opportunities to learn new software and technologyMaintain up-to-date knowledge on AWS / Azure / GCP offeringsObtain and maintain relevant certifications as needed for the Cloud Engineering PracticeCollaborate with your team members and contribute as a technical team member while participating in multiple concurrent cloud focused projects, ensuring implementations are well aligned with the overall architectureIdentification and build of reusable and repeatable cloud-based patterns and artifacts that the practice can bring to marketImplementation of cloud agnostic use cases leveraging cloud provider an 3rd party tools to deliver business outcomes for customers based on the identified requirementsBe an active member in the technology community and share your knowledge and expertiseExperiences and skills you’ll use to solveRelevant experience working as an engineer or related capacityDemonstrated experience in cloud technologies, project execution, and an understand of software developmentExperience in implementation and scale of cloud based projects with a specific focus on the following:Cloud technology architectures and solution options aligned to technology strategy and cloud infrastructure use cases, including hybrid cloud and deployment options (PaaS, IaaS, etc)Change management practices including organizational models, roles / responsibilities and technology tooling and automationApplication modernization strategies and toolingWorking knowledge of supporting the removal of technical debt and legacy applicationsExperience working in waterfall, scrum, agile, and other methodologiesGood oral and written communication skills with prior working experience in a consulting environment, including developing business presentations and technical writing with an ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the businessThe successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC CanadaTechnical experience in many of the following areas:Virtual Machines / Compute (Azure VM, AVS)Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE)Azure Container registryCodeBuild, Azure Devops, Cloud BuildAzure SQL, Cosmos DBAzure Storage (Blob, File, Disk)Cloud Networking (VPC, Subnets, etc)Azure Subscription Management, Azure Policies.
