This state-of-the-art hospital will revolutionise healthcare delivery for the local community and surrounding suburbs. It will feature modern facilities for emergency medicine, surgical services, critical care, and expanded and integrated ambulatory care services, including cancer treatment and community health services.We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team in a crucial change management role for the Bankstown Hospital and Community Health Services Redevelopment Project. This position plays a key role in the development and execution of activities required to implement strategic change, provide functional leadership, and assist the business with readiness activities for the Project.The successful candidate will possess a high degree of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality, along with exceptional organisational skills to support the team and ensure project deliverables and milestones are met.What you'll be doingReporting to the, New Bankstown Hospital Redevelopment’s Project Director, the Change Manager will assume a leadership role providing expert advice on change management matters, strategies and solutions for the New Bankstown Hospital Redevelopment’s project team (and assists where possible with any request to also help support the Fairfield Hospital Redevelopment Project).They will achieve this through working closely with the facility GMU & the LHD’s planning team in the Strategy & Partnerships Directorate, &, liaising with expert best practice sources such as Health Infrastructure, Agency for Clinical Innovation, Clinical Networks and Streams, Clinical Excellence Commission and provide feedback, information and to the LHD and the project governance reporting and processes.The position requires the participant to apply existing or new state and local policies and practices as applicable to the facility development. Liaison with clinicians to develop alternate processes, models of care and systems to support the project is a key component. During the project development the change manager role is instrumental in contributing to the direction of assets and identification of resources required for future service delivery.The Change Manager will use initiative and self-direction to manage the day-to-day requirements with a high degree of competency skills and enthusiasm. The Change Manager will be the main point of contact for the LHD to the project team(s) and is responsible for:development of a strong vision and strategy/framework for change within the organisation which is formalised into a Change Management Planincorporating clinical redesign and AIM methodology in all Change Management processes. * development of an Operational Commissioning Strategy, its implementation, & development and delivery of relocation plan(s) (negotiated with the project key stakeholders) that can be implemented in accordance with the overall project program,assist with the development of a Workforce Strategy/Plan,working closely with communications personnel to ensure consultation and involvement of appropriate stakeholders as identified in the project Communications Plan.Where you'll be workingBankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. View our for information on how to respond to criteria and . * Demonstrated experience in overseeing effective change in a health service, including industrial, operational commissioning, communications, risk management.Highly developed negotiation consultation and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders and objectivity in decision-making.Project management experience delivering outcomes on time and within budgetHealth clinician with extensive clinical and / or senior management experienceDemonstrated experience in policy, planning and / or service development, including analysis and resolution of complex issues.High-level knowledge of inter-relationship between models of care, facility options and departmental operational policies and procedures.Experience and/or knowledge of 'Clinical Redesign or AIM Methodology' for change management as recommended by NSW Ministry of HealthWell-developed written and oral communications skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with the project team, district management and key stakeholders.Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
