Our team is in charge of the accuracy of the net asset value calculations and is responsible of all workflows related to these funds. We are working in close collaboration with the respective services at the custodian bank.MAIN DUTIESensure timely and accurate calculation of the Net Asset Value of the funds assignedposting accounting entries and performing cash reconciliationsact as main point of contact for your client portfolioparticipate in the valuation process of underlying investmentsoversee and the unaudited financial statements, annual reports of administered entitiesprovide assistance to complex NAV queries and problemsmaking recommendations to improve processes for a more efficient servicemain contact point for requests from other internal teams and fund auditorsyear-end closings (control and review of accounts, closing of accounts) and fund events (merger, liquidation and similar events)co-ordination and cooperation with the wider teams involved in the NAV calculation processes.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREDYou have:a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Economics or FinanceExperience in Fund Accounting experience in traditional Fundsan understanding of Lux GAAP and accounting principlesstrong technical and analytical skillsan good command of Microsoft Excelknowledge of GP3 will be considered a plusthe ability to stay on track, even when dealing with tight deadlinesGood team work and communication skillsYou are:eager to solve complex problems with multidisciplinary teamsdetail oriented, with structured, organized, methodical planning skillsproactive, with strong interpersonal skills (and this noticeable even when under pressure)capable of understanding client needs and translating them into solutionsWorking with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
