Together, our diversity defines the uniqueness of Nova Scotia.About Our OpportunityReporting to the Manager, Film Fund, the Film Fund Coordinator is responsible for efficiently reviewing and processing claims of CCTH's film incentive programs, including, but not limited to, the Nova Scotia Film & Television Production Incentive Fund (NSFTPIF). Through timely follow-up and quick responsiveness to inquiries, the Film Fund Coordinator provides the utmost level of customer service to CCTH's clients. The Film Fund Coordinator pays close attention to the details to provide quality adjudication of claims packages, ensures a quick turnaround in processing time, and effectively communicates with both internal and external contacts. Under minimal supervision and guidance, and through analysis and consultation, this position is the central relationship manager responsible for providing support, advice, recommendations and subject matter expertise in relation to Film Funding claims for the Province of Nova Scotia.Primary AccountabilitiesSet up and send reminders to clients to submit claims to CCTH based upon established schedulingMonitors program email for claims applications and inquiries for response; Organizes the claim package as per our internal processes and ensures order of documentation is consistent.Reviews claim submissions for completeness and accuracy, to ensure all requirements are met.Enters data into CCTH tracking system (I drive) to ensure accurate tracking of applications and claimsMonitor files as they progress and ensures target dates are on track with the applicable contract.Draft and evolve best practice improvements for programsQualifications and ExperienceGraduation from a post-secondary institution, preferably within a finance, accounting or business-related field of study, within the last three years is mandatory.
