We focus on providing exceptional quality, first-class service, and an exquisite range of menu options that are sure to impress.Job DescriptionThe role of Specialist Chinese Chef supports the Executive Chef Team and has a primary responsibility for overseeing and supervising production of Chinese cuisine for DO & CO. You will work hard to promote the company’s culture, mission, and values. You will act as a team leader and motivator for the whole team using interpersonal skills and be a clear communicator. You will be responsible for supervising, training, evaluating, coaching, and counselling the team ensuring compliance with company standards.Working closely with the Executive Chef team to ensure that consistent quality products are produced following all DO & CO standards as well designing, developing, and presenting new menu designs as per the customers’ needs in Chinese cuisineDay to day managing and supporting of the Kitchen teamInstilling a culture of job pride and ownership and motivate the team to have the ability to adapt to stressful situations and deal with any emergencies or last-minute changes to productionPlanning production to the daily schedule and ensuring the exceptional DO & CO quality is maintained at its highest level with maximum efficiency in accordance with DO & CO regulations as set by the Quality Assurance teamEstablishing production of Chinese cuisine recipes that align with the set pricing structure and customer budget as well as controlling food costsEnsuring operations adhere to all SOP’s and ALL relevant Critical Control Points, Health and Safety, Food safety and all legal requirementsConstantly performing quality control checks to ensure specifications are met on raw materials and finished productsMaintaining good working relationships with all DO & CO family members as well as our partners, vendors, and other stakeholdersQualificationsYou will have a passion for cooking authentic Chinese cuisinePrevious experience as a Specialist Chinese Chefpassion for food and working with fresh and high-quality ingredients.
