Job Description:The SAP SD expert is a member of the SAP SD Domain that is part of the SAP Centre of Excellence of the IT department of ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products segment.MissionThe SAP Sales & Distribution Expert mission will be:To contribute to the strategy of the SD Domain, to participate each year to the 5 years plan including architecture concepts and to assess that the transformations handled are in phase with the current strategy.To manage some project transformations in the Domain on a Project Management point of view but also on a technical point of view.He(she) will be responsible for the success of the transformation steps of the projects: initial demand collection, books of requirements, eventual Request For Proposal, blueprint, realisation, cutover plan, training, go-live, project closure, project committees, steering committees, subcontractors management etc.To manage a part of the run and maintain activity. The SAP SD expert will contribute to the incidents management and the progressive maintenance management in the domain.All these activities must be handled in full compliance with the IT General Compliance rules and the SOx rules that are applied in the ArcelorMittal group.What you'll need:Master' in Information Technology or similarExperience/knowledge of the general industry or steel market/products/production process is an advantage.SAP SD customizing. Ability to train other people. Synthesis spirit. We consider ourselves as a real business partner in Long Products Europe.Our productions sites have a local IT team who support the localized services, the tools close to production and also enable a suitable field service support.Some of these local IT teams are very small (2 or 3 people); others, depending on the size of the site, can be medium teams with up to 8-10 people.In Long Products Europe we are supporting French, German, Polish, Romanian, Bosnian, Spanish and Polish speaking end-users and supplying IS/IT services to the main steel units of our segment up to the remote sales offices in Italy, Germany, UK etc…At segment level we work very close with the European CIO, the Corporate team and the Global IT Purchasing to ensure we make the most use of the knowledge we have in the group, our standards and global contracts, with the main aim to keep Long Products Europe fully aligned with the rest of the group in terms of IS/IT and benefit as much as possible from the synergies available in such a group, like ArcelorMittal.ArcelorMittal
