Solutions include projects and products, systems (including applications, technologies, processes and information), shared infrastructure services and shared application services. They understand the concepts of business goals, objectives and business outcomes, business capabilities, value-streams and business processes and their importance in solution architecture. The solutions architect provides the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to support the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards. They create deliverables for managing the organization's portfolio of to be and as is solutions — including systems (applications, processes, information and technology), shared infrastructure services, and shared application services and components to enable and drive targeted business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Lead the translation of business and technical requirements into Solution Architecture to achieve business objectives.Documents all solution architecture design, analysis and decisions in a a Business Architecture Service Definition.Collaborate closely with product managers, UX, and other engineering stakeholders to ensure a robust architecture process & methodology that can support future business requirements throughout the product life cycle.Understands business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determines corresponding product solution designs and help evolve requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes.Monitors industry trends in Solution Architecture as well as global events, including technology, economic, political, social/cultural, environmental, regulatory/legal and/or technological disruptions for effective decision-making.Supports product managers in end-of-life product decisions to maintain, refresh or retire services or systems, including applications, technologies, processes and information.Creates architectural designs to guide and contextualize solution development across products, services, projects and systems, including applications, technologies, processes and information.Works closely with Tech Leads & Delivery Management (PMO) to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with what is being promised throughout the project or product life cycle and assists with dependency management across solutions.Provides leadership and support to technical architects within project teams to ensure the project or product is aligned with the overall solution architecture.Key Qualifications:Skilled at influencing, guiding and facilitating stakeholders and peers with decision making.A commitment to collaboration. Proficient in translating future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements.Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives.Motivated and driven by achieving long-term business outcomes.The technical experience that comes with designing and developing serverless, data-centric cloud platforms, architecting solutions in a lean/agile way, including consideration of: scalability, resilience, partner interfaces, security (risks and threats, authentication, authorization), data validation, representation and storage, tuning and testing using automated testing patterns and tools, balancing the need for feature development with architecturePractical experience in a broad range of development languages and frameworks and supporting technologies. You will have a clear understanding of their relative merits and applicability.Skills in developing and designing cloud-based solutions including experience with: AWS Services: Lambda, SQS, Step Functions, Kinesis, Glue, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, Sagemaker, ElasticSearch, S3, API Gateway, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Accounts, VPC’s, PrivateLink, KMS, Secrets Manager, GuardDuty, ControlTower, IAM, Cloud RBAC, Security Groups, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Fargate, EMR/Spark o Python, Node.Js, React, Angular, D3 o Data Lakes and Data-centric systems, data architecture, data modelling, and database design.A broad range of data management, analysis, and visualization tools, including ETL/data format conversion, SQL, and NoSQL/non-traditional database technologies.
