Job Description

We're looking for a BI Account Director to join the Business Intelligence function responsible for consolidating technical knowledge to develop consistent processes across the agency. The function is responsible for managing data collection, analysis, insight and tech solutions for our digital marketing clients. The BI Function sits within our Data, Technology & Business Consulting discipline and this role will support the delivery of strategic intelligence to our clients from the data available from their industry and digital marketing campaigns.Internally you will oversee the integration of a client’s technology stack into our own systems and processes, working alongside activation, client leadership and consultancy teams to ensure this data is being correctly utilised across reporting, analysis, forecasting and planning. Externally, you'll be a key point of contact for all things data and tech.As part of this role, you will be expected to:Write good quality SQL code to clean and prepare data for reportingDesign bespoke visualizations and UX design, and advise on best practices for other stakeholders.Maintain and grow knowledge of media data sources, using this knowledge to source data, and advise other data consumers and AdOps on best practicesWork closely with our Data Solutions (Engineers) to ingest and model data, collecting requirements from across the user base and converting them into data requirementsDevelop strong relationships with our clients to understand their needs, objectives and pain points, and help them make data-driven business decisionsBrief and manage workflows with our global delivery teamAccountable for the delivery of multi-market, cross-channel reporting dashboards to briefPresent complex analysis to senior client stakeholdersAct as point of escalation to solve reporting issuesWork with highly skilled internal teams to identify insights from reporting data and optimisation opportunities to suggest strategic actionsCarry out regular research into broader industry trends and competitor analysis to uncover key insights that could lead to performance growthDeliver training sessions to multiple client stakeholders and the wider Assembly businessManage, mentor, and motivate direct reports to encourage their professional development while providing hands on, daily supervision and guidanceAbout AssemblyWe bring together data, talent, and technology— the ingredients of the modern agency—to deliver omnichannel media + more to the best brands on the planet.Assembly is a global marketing services company that delivers unmatched omnichannel media expertise + business, data, and consulting solutions that help brands change as fast as the world around them. We strive for the balance of purpose and profit, and we’re committed to being an active part of the solution.RequirementsExcellent knowledge of common marketing analytics tools (i.e., Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics)Experience in the digital marketing industry with an understanding of channel-based activation (PPC, SEO, Display / Programmatic, Social, etc.)Experience within a BI role or a role utilising strong analytical and technical skillsGood understanding of Data Visualisation and UX design principlesStrong storytelling via PowerPoint using data & insightsExperience analysing and understanding business insights with the ability to develop and present clear and insightful reports to stakeholdersExperience with data visualisation and dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Datorama & PowerBIExperience using SQL and relational databasesEqual OpportunitiesAssembly is an advocate for equal opportunity in the workplace.
