Circuit started a mission to change that by choosing to develop an app that put the driver and their customers first.We were astounded by the response we received. Within our first year, we had almost 1,000 customers, $100k in ARR, and a team consisting of our two co-founders, Jack and Pol. Today, we now help more than 100,000 drivers deliver over 1bn packages worldwide (about 20 a second!), $20m ARR, and a lean team of ~40.What you will be doing day to dayStreamlining processes: You'll document and communicate processes clearly and efficiently, helping our teams and the company run more smoothly and efficiently.Managing vendor relations: You will keep our vendor database current, handle service contracts, and ensure the team can access the tools they need.Social engagement: Plan, promote, and execute social initiatives, including company-wide on-site and virtual events, to boost team engagement.Collaborating on payments: Work closely with our Finance Manager to manage payments for company events, operations initiatives, and vendor tools.Supporting the team: Help with processes, systems, and other operational topics to make sure the team can work effectively.Partnering on people projects: Collaborate with the Director of Operations on projects where company operations and people initiatives cross over.What you won't be doingFilling your day with internal meetings. Expect ~one meeting per week/every fortnight to catch up as a team. We’re not the right fit for you if you rely on regular meetings to keep on track.Sacrificing quality. We have high standards and won’t rush to meet an arbitrary deadline.Managing people. You’ll mentor others and manage projects, but this will remain an individual contributor role, at least for now.Focusing on strategy. At Circuit, everyone works at Senior level, or higher. So, while you'll be part of a highly experienced team working on interesting challenges together, you will also handle those lower-level administrative tasks.The skills and experience we need from youYou’ve worked in remote and global environments before, probably at a start-up, either working solo or as part of a small Ops team.Internal operations, logistics, and administration are areas that interest you, and you continually look for ways to improve things.You have solid experience keeping things organized and running smoothly and take pride in delivering high-quality work.You are extremely organized, pay great attention to detail, and know when to take your time or when to do things quickly!Business process management, project management, and company operations are all areas you are well-versed in.Google Sheets and/or Excel are your specialty, and you’re an advanced user.It is easy for you to learn new software, and you are comfortable using web-based applications.We would love to meet you if you:Enjoy working autonomously and instinctively to solve problemsLike to get things right and done on time, where possibleInstinctively come up with alternative ideas that accomplish goals with less complexityAre a fan of documenting work with the reader in mindCan speak and write in English at a professional level.Some of the tech and tools you will be working with:Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.)Notion, LinearTwist, Roam, LoomOur Hiring ProcessOur hiring process for this role has four stages and usually takes ~three weeks.
