Because we believe that to make this difference, we need the right people by our side.We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to provide daily support to residents at our Bethanie Waters Aged Care Facility on a permanent part time basis. We are looking at offering 30 hours a week. Bethanie Waters 160 bed aged care facility offering a secure area for local residents located in Port Kennedy.You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day-to-day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and professional relationships with residents and team members.Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to residents. Applicants with at least twelve months experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.The Role:Assess care plans and ensure residents' needs are metEnsure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe mannerDeliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respectEnsure residents' rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standardAbout You:Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment would be an advantageExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work well as a team, and also independentlyWillingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.Experience using ICare or similar computer package highly regardedWillingness to obtain relevant vaccinations - annual flu and minimum three COVID-19 vaccinationsCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)Working with BethanieAt Bethanie we are committed to being an employer of choice by creating a supportive and compassionate environment for our people, customers and residents.As well as being part of a stimulating and nurturing work environment, you will also have access to the following benefits:Salary Packaging up to $15,899 per annum.
