Job Description:Permanent roleSydney based - hybrid workingExcellent opportunity to join the Credit Risk Collections teamHow will I help?The Senior Credit Risk Analyst will join the Credit Risk Collections team and play a key role in establishing and maintaining “best practice” risk management processes and techniques that support the stated product and customer strategy.You will be responsible for producing superior reporting and analysis of portfolio trends that help drive change that improves portfolio profitability and customer experience. You will assist with monitoring profitability-based strategies for account management, and syndicate with appropriate stakeholders. Additionally, you will be a key support to (Senior) Risk Managers with developing profitability-based strategies for delinquent account management (Collections and recoveries) at a customer and account level across multiple brands. You will also:Develop, research, analyse and interpret significant portfolio performance trends.Maintain effective partnerships with business owners by providing timely support in relation to credit risk, delinquency performance, collection strategy, and decisioning system issues.Develop, implement and monitor effective credit policies.Participate in business development initiatives and risk related projects.Ensure credit policy and risk strategy is communicated effectively to the frontline and stakeholders.What's in it for me?You'll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years. And we continue to pay your super contributions while you take all the time you need to get your new family settled.What do I need?The ideal candidate will come from a background in credit risk management, and have a strong understanding of banking, credit risk lifecycle, delinquency monitoring / reporting, credit scoring, behavioural scoring, scorecard development and monitoring. You will have strong risk management and credit policy experience, with knowledge of the credit lifecycle collection strategy and workflow. You will ideally have exposure to credit risk decisioning system and have practical experience in consumer lending and collections. Additionally, you will:Be proficient with data extraction, manipulation and analysis.Be highly analytical, with strong problem-solving skills and forecasting experience.Have strong SAS, SQL programming and Excel / Tableau skills.Have a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.Be a team player, with a customer focus.What is it like to work there?We aim to provide one big, supportive team to help us achieve our purpose of creating better futures together.
