We primarily invest into early stage companies in digital businesses in Europe and Israel.Headquartered in Luxembourg we have presence in Barcelona, Berlin and Tel Aviv.Mangrove Capital Partners is an authorized Alternative Investment Fund Manager under the Luxembourg AIFM Law.We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join our team. At Mangrove, you take over the following responsibilities with respect to the firm, the funds managed by the firm and related entities:Overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, tax, valuation and financial reportingDeveloping and maintaining financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsProviding financial analysis and guidance to the executive team to support decision-makingManaging relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutionsLeading the valuation function and collaborating in the implementation of risk management strategies.Ensuring that financial practices align with industry standards and best practicesYou will work closely with the executive team to ensure that our financial practices align with our business objectives and support our long-term growth and success.What you bring:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is preferredMinimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience, preferably within the alternative investment industry (private equity or venture capital)Strong knowledge of Luxembourgish GAAP and applicable financial regulationsExperience with IPEV Valuation guidelinesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently, in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholdersFamiliarity in working closely with the other C-suite executives as well as the BoardHigh level of integrity and professionalismFluency (written and spoken) in EnglishWhat would be a plus:Professional certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA)Prior accreditation as a Conducting Officer by the Luxembourgish regulator (CSSF)Experience in implementing relevant management tools and software for efficient operationsAdditional European language(s)What we offer:A unique position in the alternative investment industryCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work in a small, dynamic and international environmentA high degree of independenceShould you be interested in this position, please email your curriculum vitae and application letter in English via jobs.lu quoting “Head of Finance”.Please include your motivation, earliest availability and salary expectations.Jobs.lu
