Whole of the gaming profits made by Loterie Nationale are transferred to Œuvre Nationale de Secours to finance its philanthropic activities within the social, cultural, environmental, health & sports and memory & heritage areas.Loterie Nationale is recruiting an Acceptance tester to reinforce its Acceptance Testing teamKey responsibilitiesThe Acceptance Tester is responsible for the quality of deliveries s/he is assigned to validate. His/her job is to methodically plan and execute test scenarios to ascertain the level of quality of a defined software scope. The Acceptance Tester will work closely with the Project Manager and/or other Acceptance Testers to ensure that the scope and schedule of his/her assignments are met.As full-time Acceptance Tester your missions will primarily include:Plan the test cycle, within the allotted time and scope of the project plan.Create and/or revise existing test cases to be used in a test cycle.Ensure traceability of test cases to requirement scope in accordance with the Project Manager.Provide feedback on the quality of the delivery by executing the allocated test cases and logging defects for issues found.Support the end users in validating that their business requirements often expressed as new change requests have been met.Coordinate and collaborate with the project teams, both internal and external as to achieve a successful customer acceptance test conclusion.Work closely with testing peers, during each testing cycle to ensure smooth communication and efficient resolution of each issue encountered.Contribute to the continued development of the Loterie Nationale’s test process and team knowledge.Participate in and/or drive the elaboration process of user requirements.To go further the Acceptance Tester mayMake a fresh start for new acceptance test execution.Review the current acceptance test process for improvement.Drive change in the way the work is done.Introduce some automation with tooling in the process.Lead and take ownership of acceptance tests execution and outputs on agreed scope.Candidate profileBachelor degree (or equivalent) in information technology or equivalent.Strong knowledge of software testing methods, frameworks, and practices.5 to 10 years of successful experience in software testing including acceptance and/or validation phases.Attention to details and processesExcellent organizational skills and ability to work autonomouslyAdaptability and flexibilityAbility to handle sensitive and confidential informationFluent in French and English.Any additional languages including German and Luxembourgish is an asset.Certification ISTQB or equivalent is an asset.Please send your application including CV and cover letter via jobs.lu.Jobs.lu
