We are located in the heart of the CBD on the Esplanade overlooking the beautiful Darwin Harbour.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Conference & Events Coordinator to join the team. In this role your creativity, flexibility, personality and excellent communication skills come to the fore. As Conference & Events Coordinator you will live and breathe our brand, spirit and mind-set to deliver a memorable experience for our guests. Your professional and inspiring management style will bring out the very best in your teams.In this role you will create memorable experiences for our guests and team members through:Organisation of secured conference & events business, from point of event confirmation through to post event follow up.Develop successful professional relationships with clients and maintain effective and timely communication.Preparation of Event Planning documents as required – including Request for Information, Event Orders, Invoices & Floorplans.Ensure progress deposits and final accounts are invoiced and payments received in a timely manner, complete billing and post charges for each event.Coordinate between Conference & Events and operational departments to ensure preparations for conferences have been made.Coordination and Hosting of site inspections, pre-conference meetings and post conference reviews with clients.Set up and assist with conference room preparations.QualificationsRelevant experience in the hospitality sectorPresent a professional, friendly and efficient impression of the Hotel at all timesAn impeccable attitude which conveys the image of the brand and hotelCustomer service orientationGood time management skillsStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesTeam work spiritEffective verbal and written communication skillsAdditional InformationDiscounted accommodation & Food and Beverage in Accor hotels worldwide.Breathtaking environment to work in lovely Darwin Esplanade.Annual Service Recognition, Accor Tenure Milestone recognition, Accor paid parental leave, EAP and much more Accor Partner Benefits.Accor
