Finance Manager / St Helens / Salary £45,000 – £50,000 / CIMA, ACCA, AAT or QBE / PermanentFinance Manager Role OverviewOur St Helens based client are recruiting a Finance Manager to join the business on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for the management of the Accounts Department, supervising one Accounts AssistantFinance Manager Responsibilities:Bank reconciliation on a daily basis due to high volume of transactions for several bank accountsWeekly cash flow forecastMonthly management accounts for 2 companiesAccruals and prepaymentsInter-company accountsMaintenance of fixed asset register and depreciation calculations for 2 companiesMonthly salaries, including calculation of overtime and commission and auto enrolment pension schemeMonthly stock control and reconciliationMaintenance of the Nominal Ledger, including reconciliationsOccasional cover of purchase ledger duties including monthly payment runQuarterly VATProduction of year end accounts and year end fileLiaising with AuditorsMonthly Debtors reconciliationControl account reconciliationsBudgeting and forecastingFinance Manager Experience RequiredExtensive management accounts experienceMonthly presentation of management accounts to the BoardForecasting skillsVariance Analysis skillsBudgeting skillsAbility to plan ahead, prioritise and meet deadlinesExcellent Supervisory/Management skillsEffective written and communication skillsAbility to make decisions and use judgementWe are committed to diversity and inclusion.
