Vaco Boston has partnered with our client to hire an Accountant to join their team on a temp to perm basis.Where: Danvers, MA (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)When: Immediate need- 3 month contract to permPay: $40/hourAudit internal transactions such as reviewing all entries before posting for authorization and budget account accuracy.Review unusual transactions with the Controller.Assist the Controller with the preparation of reports for state, federal and corporate auditors, preparing year-end adjusting and closing entries, and complex and critical accounting matters.Complete special projects as assigned, including research and analysis.Develop and utilize methods to effectively analyze General Ledger processes and functions and to efficiently determine solutions to General Ledger anomalies.Interact with members of internal departments and outside vendors to clarify and process information.Complete the monthly reconciliation of bank statements.Vaco
