Do you have experience working within SEN settings or care environments? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an SEN Residential Support Worker.Position: SEN Residential Support WorkerLocation: Derby, UKSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceHours: Full-time, including weekend work on a rota basisAbout Us:We are a reputable SEN setting in Derby, committed to providing exceptional care and support to students aged 9-19 with a range of SEN needs. Our mission is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where each student can thrive and achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality care and support to students with a range of SEN needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and behavioural challenges.Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and the implementation of individual care plans.Promote independence and encourage positive behaviour through tailored support and interventions.Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and progress of each student.Participate in weekend work on a rota basis to ensure consistent and continuous care.Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.Safeguard the welfare of students, adhering to all safeguarding policies and procedures.Requirements:Must be a driver with a valid UK driving license.Proven experience working with SEN students, preferably within a residential or SEN school setting.Background in care or a related field is essential.Strong understanding of SEN and the challenges faced by students with additional needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, to meet the needs of the service.A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting young people.What We Offer:A supportive and collaborative working environment.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.The chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people with SEN.How to Apply:If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people with SEN and meet the above requirements, we would love to hear from you.
