Salary: CompetitiveHours: 35 per weekLocation: London Bridge/HybridContract: PermanentDepartment: Children's PublishingAn exciting opportunity to join the design team of the world's largest publisher of children's books and help inspire children to read for pleasure has become available.Scholastic are the award-winning publishers behind Dog Man, Cat Kid, The Hunger Games, Tom Gates and Horrible Histories, and we work with bestselling authors and illustrators including Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, Suzanne Collins, Liz Pichon, Patrice Lawrence, Philip Pullman, and Terry Deary and Martin Brown.We are currently looking for a talented, innovative and creative thinker with a particular flair for non-fiction design, though you will, of course, have the opportunity to work across all strands of our publishing.With a proven and established track record of designing great children's books, you will be an all-round team player and must be able to provide and take direction in an open minded, enthusiastic and supportive manner. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines are a must, as is your willingness to share and expand on your market knowledge.
