The incumbent will be expected to assume both lead and support roles, depending on the primary purpose of the project. Typical projects include installation of new manufacturing machinery, and upgrades of existing machinery to improve productivity, capacity, reliability, flexibility, product quality, energy efficiency, and most importantly, worker safety.Job Duties:Identification of challenges and improvement opportunities within manufacturing, energy management, steam plant and environmental control operations in conjunction with operations personnel, mill management and external regulatory agenciesConceptual development and cost estimation of solutions in response to those challenges in conjunction with vendors and engineering consultants, coordinating feasibility studies as requiredPrepare or assist in preparation and presentation of business cases for assigned projects to obtain fundingUpon approval of funding, assume responsibility for the execution of projects or sub-projects.
