HI Partners is currently seeking a skilled Fund Accountant specializing in Private Equity & Real Estate to join a reputable firm in Luxembourg. As a Fund Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the accounting and financial reporting process for our private equity and real estate investment funds. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional with a strong background in fund accounting and a passion for the private equity and real estate industry.ResponsibilitiesProviding support to a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely completion of their periodic and year-end financial closings, including the preparation of financial statements and other required regulatory reports.Taking responsibility for the preparation of Corporate Tax returns, VAT returns, and subscription tax returns.Contributing to the Net Asset Value (NAV) production process, undertaking a variety of financial and accounting tasks.Managing inquiries from auditors, clients, and tax authorities, as well as resolving internal accounting-related issues.Working with various clients, especially those in the private equity and real estate sectors within the fund industry.Ensuring essential reporting on client needs and demands.Maintaining and updating the Investor register and the capital table.Preference will be given to candidates with familiarity with CSSF reporting, as well as AIFMD and BCL reporting.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Audit, or Finance2+ years of professional experience in the Fund industry, including audit firms or similar rolesExperience in NAV calculations and NAV productionStrong knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with Luxembourg GAAPExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsExperience with fund accounting software and systems - BOB 50Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsTeam player with a proactive and self-motivated attitudeHuman Innovation Partners
